| A Single Strand started out of necessity!

| I have six lovely nieces and was forever trying to find them fun and unique gifts . I was always in search of presents for them to celebrate birthdays, Christmas or just the little events that are worth celebrating during regular everyday life.

| As they grew older, I found I had a difficult time finding gifts that I thought were affordable and of nice quality….
So, I started making them jewelry. They loved the pieces!

| I would often wear the jewelry first to make certain the quality was up to my standards. Friends would comment on how much they liked what I was wearing and ask where I had bought it. When I told them I had made it they encouraged me to start a business! So here I am.
